The Ceramic Thermal Comfort Heated Floor

Looking for an efficient way to heat your home? Why not combine the beauty of your bathroom or kitchen with the practicality and comfort of heated floors to bring a touch of luxury to any space. The Schlüter®-BEKOTEC-THERM heated floor system combines environmentally friendly heating comfort with hygiene and cosiness. The patented heated floor assembly, which boasts a low construction height and an innovative heating and control technology, turns the entire system into a low energy, cost-saving, and quick-reacting “thermal comfort floor” with especially low flow temperatures.

With a quick and uncomplicated installation, you can reap the benefits of a heated tile floor in no time at all.

Save energy and reduce heating costs

Because of the patented thin layer construction of the ceramic thermal comfort floor, the total screed mass to be heated is comparatively small. As a consequence, floor-heating systems can be operated with low flow temperatures. Thanks to Schlüter®-DITRA 25’s ability to distribute heat evenly, the heat is rapidly spread over a large area, making an entire room comfortable in a short amount of time.

Ceramic thermal comfort floors are ideally suited for operation with environmentally friendly heat pumps. However, the low operating temperatures also protect the environment if they rely on conventional heat generation and are good to your wallet as well!

Move in earlier, thanks to shorter construction time

Thanks to the special construction of the ceramic thermal comfort floor, tiles can be installed on top of the system component, Schlüter®-DITRA 25, as soon as the screed is ready to bear weight.

This eliminates long waiting periods for drying the screed and lengthy functional heating periods to bring the covering to temperature. Since the thinner screed requires much less material, the final construction is lighter and lower than conventional installations, saving considerable construction time.

Thanks to the patented assembly of the ceramic thermal comfort floor, stresses that build up in the construction are neutralised. Schlüter®-BEKOTEC-THERM can offer you a permanently damage free, heated tile floor that you will enjoy for a long time to come.

Schlüter®-BEKOTEC-THERM is a reliable covering assembly with low construction height. The combination with the corresponding heating and control technology results in an energy-efficient and highly responsive floor heating system with especially low supply temperatures.

Flow temperature

The flow temperature is the temperature of the hydronic medium being put into the thermal comfort floor (e.g. water). The height of this temperature depends on the area heated as well as the desired temperature inside the room.

In former times, the flow temperature used to be 70-90°C.

Its extraordinary low flow temperature of about 30°C makes Schlüter®-BEKOTEC-THERM the ideal partner for a combination of heat pump and solar panels, as the energy produced by the panels can be used to heat water for the domestic use in bathroom and kitchen as well.

Security guaranteed

Independant expert´s reports confirm the high quality of the system. Many references and our guarantee of five years - not only for the single components but for the construction as a whole - result in a very high level of security and technical leadership.
