New profiles and new designs
The exhibit of Schlüter-Systems at Cersaie will feature a number of intelligent new profile solutions, with new product introductions to include a variety of profiles for outside wall corners and the edges of tile coverings, while Schlüter will also present attractive new finishes for its elegant stainless steel profiles QUADEC and DESIGNLINE.
The new Schlüter®-DECO-DE is a high-quality stainless steel finishing profile for outside wall corners with a 135° angle, such as those found in the vicinity of bathtubs. It offers excellent protection for the edges of tile coverings and is available in the finishes stainless steel and brushed stainless steel.
Schlüter®-DIADEC was also developed for exterior wall corners and the edges of tile coverings. It is made of anodized aluminum and has a visible area that forms a 45° beveled edge at the exterior corner. The profile is available with or without anchoring leg. In the version with an anchoring leg, the integrated joint spacer defines a joint chamber with the tile. The name DIADEC makes reference to the diamond-shaped contour of the profile.
The new Schlüter®-INDEC profile is designed for outside wall corners and the edges of tile coverings as well. The visible area of the profile forms a recessed decorative groove at the outside corner.
Both Schlüter®-QUADEC and DESIGNLINE offer elegant solutions for finishing a covering area or for including a decorative border in wall coverings. To further increase the number of design options, the profiles are now available in two additional attractive finishes. The square and leather-like structure matches many modern tile designs, while the profiles’ haptic tactility also reflects the trend toward three-dimensional tile surfaces.
