  1. Select Schlüter®-DILEX-AHK/-AHKA according to the tile thickness. 
  2. Apply thin bed adhesive to areas where the perforated anchoring leg will be placed, using a notched trowel. 
  3. Press the perforated anchoring leg of Schlüter®-DILEX-AHK/-AHKA securely into the setting material and align the profile. 
  4. Trowel additional setting material over the perforated anchoring leg to ensure full coverage. 
  5. Solidly embed the tiles and align flush with the top of the profile. The tiles must be fully embedded in the area of the profile. 
  6. The tile is set abutting the lateral joint spacer, which creates an evenly spaced joint of approx. 1.5 mm. Completely fill the space between the tile and the profile with grout. Note: where movement is expected at internal corners, leave a sufficiently wide joint between the tile and the profile and fill with elastomeric sealant. 
  7. Use materials and tools that will not scratch or cause other damage to sensitive surfaces. Grout and tile adhesive should be removed immediately. 
  8. Matching preformed internal and external corner pieces are available.
    Note: Due to the asymmetrical design of Schlüter®-DILEX-AHKA, the use of internal and external corners is feasible only with the installation configuration shown here.
