Application and function

Schlüter-DESIGNBASE-QD is a high-quality profile of anodised aluminium for versatile applications. It is designed for mounting various Schlüter-LIPROTEC-ES LED strips as a skirting or border profile in wall areas. A 39 mm diffuser lens is then used between the approx. 10 mm wide visible areas of the profile to create direct illumination. Other decorative materials such as tiles or wooden elements can also be inserted in the open space. The profile design allows for the easy replacement of the utilised diffuser lenses and bulbs, including after installation.

Schlüter-DESIGNBASE-QD can be equipped with the following LED strips:
LT ES 31 – warm white 3400 K, narrow
LT ES 41 – neutral white 4900 K, narrow

To achieve adhesive bonding between the smooth aluminium surface and the tile, the self-adhesive fleece Schlüter-DESIGNBASE-HVL 38/20M is fitted.
