Illuminated staircases – stylish and safe!

Schlüter®-LIPROTEC is designed to illuminate steps or staircases. That has a dual benefit, as the illuminated steps consistently offer visual awareness and anti-slip properties. At the same time, the elegant illumination creates a unique atmosphere and turns stairs and steps into elegant details.

Illumination of staircases

The staircase sets of the Schlüter®-LIPROTEC series comprise everything you need to create an illuminated details on each riser of the staircase, from profiles to LED modules and power supply. The central positioning of the illumination ensures optimum and elegant lighting. Once installed the lighting can then either be controlled with a light switch or - for an even more sophisticated set-up - with a motion sensor.

Illuminated steps and platform edges

Schlüter®-LIPROTEC can also be used to highlight and detail individual steps or edges. You can install continuous stair nosing illumination for up to four step levels to create elegant and safe step lighting. In addition, the illumination system can also be combined with the stair nosing profiles of the Schlüter®-TREP series.
