The tile covering in the shower area must be sufficiently sloped to allow for proper drainage. This is easily achieved with the pre-fabricated leveling and shower tray components of Schlüter®-KERDI-SHOWER. They also include the necessary waterproofing collars for the floor area.
Schlüter®-KERDI-SHOWER is available with the point drainage Schlüter®-KERDI-DRAIN and the line drainage Schlüter®-KERDI-LINE.
Schlüter®-KERDI-DRAIN was developed for the simple and secure connection of bonded waterproofing assemblies to an existing structural drainage system. This section offers everything you need for regular and particularly slim drain assemblies. The especially flat drainage Schlüter®-KERDI-DRAIN-BASE is particularly suited for floor-level showers.
Schlüter®-KERDI-DRAIN-BASE is also part of the waterproofing set Schlüter®-KERDI-SHOWER-SK for floor-level showers. In addition to the floor drain, the set includes Schlüter®-KERDI membranes and sealing tape (Schlüter®-KERDI-KEBA) for waterproofing the critical detail points of wall areas, pipe collars, and inside corners as well as Schlüter®-KERDI-COLL sealing adhesive for reliable waterproofing of sealing tapes and prefabricated parts. This waterproofing set can be used with KERDI-SHOWER tray elements or with conventional floor-level showers installed over screed.
Schlüter®-KERDI-LINE channel bodies are made of solid stainless steel. The profiles come in 8 different lengths to match the various screen/frame combinations of the system (closed/perforated designer screen/tile pan). You can choose between channels for installation in the wall area or varieties for installation within tiled areas. The Schlüter®-KERDI flange allows for secure waterproofing in all configurations.
The intelligent solutions are so well made that they can be easily installed with conventional tile adhesive. This is quick and has many environmental advantages as well, since these products do not contain aggressive chemicals. The even thickness of the Schlüter®-KERDI membrane guarantees consistent waterproofing across the entire area. This makes newly built and renovated bathrooms permanently beautiful and user-friendly.
The system meets the requirements for barrier-free construction for seniors or the disabled according to the standards DIN 18024 and 18025.
