Schlüter-Systems Ltd continues to play an active role in the local community. Pictured here is a group of football players from Thringstone Primary School in Leicestershire, wearing team kit which we donated.
Deputy Head Cheryl Perkins thanked us our "very generous" gift to the school, saying it is the first time they have had a proper kit. Previously, the children have worn any unmatching kit that was available. There are two boys teams and one girls team at the school, playing in a variety of local competitions.
The kit was presented to the school by Schlüter-Systems Ltd's Corporate Communications Manager Stewart Bint (pictured back row, centre), on behalf of our MD Elaine Stokes.
Also pictured, with players from each of the three teams, is FA coach Shaun Culpin (back row, left) and teaching assistant Tanya Blythe (back row, right).
Stewart Bint told the school: "It is important for Schlüter-Systems Ltd to play an active role in the local community. We know how difficult it is for schools to find enough money for things like sports equipment and kit for out of hours activities, so we are delighted to support Thringstone Primary School in this way. It was obvious that the players took great pride in wearing the new kit for the first time at a training session and we hope it brings the school good luck in your matches."
