The system for installing tile and natural stone

Iserlohn / Bologna - Schlüter-Systems presented system solutions for installing tile and natural stone coverings at the CERSAIE tradeshow in Bologna. The Iserlohn based company lived up to its reputation as an innovator and once again presented numerous new solutions for damage free ceramic coverings for both indoors and outdoors. The company also presented its ceramic thermal comfort floor assembly Schlüter-BEKOTEC-THERM to an international audience for the first time: a complete heated floor assembly with tiles or natural stone.
The Iserlohn based company has developed functional system solutions for balconies and terraces for years. At CERSAIE, Schlüter-Systems now introduced the two innovative profiles Schlüter-BARA-RLK and -BARA-RLKT for the edges of balcony and terrace coverings loosely laid on top of gravel, crushed stone, or stilted assemblies. Consistent with the system philosophy of the manufacturer, the Schlüter-BARIN gutter system can be attached to the RLKT profile in just a few simple steps.
The company also presented two new profiles for finishing edges: Schlüter-RENO-RAMP, the transition profile for commercial and public areas, and Schlüter-RENO-TE, a transition profile made of stainless steel, expand the company?s assortment of transitions in floor coverings. The latter complements the comprehensive range of high quality stainless steel products offered by Schlüter-Systems. When it comes to radius profiles, the Iserlohn based company is ahead of the curve as well: The new bending machine Schlüter-RUMA allows for the quick, clean, uniform bending of profiles with radius perforation.
However, the most comprehensive and innovative new introduction of Schlüter-Systems is certainly the Schlüter-BEKOTEC-THERM system. This heated floor assembly, also called the ceramic thermal comfort floor, is a complete system solution for the construction and heating technology of radiant floor heating. It solves all problems that keep occurring in conjunction with heated floor assemblies with natural stone or ceramics.
The Schlüter-BEKOTEC system, which is based on the construction technology using the BEKOTEC studded panel, has proven its value as a functional thin layer floor assembly for cement and gypsum based screeds. The company is now introducing the THERM component as a matching system of heating technology accessories for BEKOTEC, ranging from heating pipes to electronic controls.
As a complete system, Schlüter-BEKOTEC-THERM offers construction companies the option of launching into new areas of competence as "system leaders" in cooperation with other construction professionals. At the same time, Schlüter-BEKOTEC THERM offers new sales opportunities for professional wholesalers.
